Pastor Troy Dotson is known for his relevant and truly authentic teaching style. At an early age, Pastor Troy professed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Following high school, Pastor Troy heeded the call from God to share Jesus Christ to the world with a focus on developing youth and young adults for the glory of God. 

Pastor Troy first served as assistant youth pastor at Immaculate Temple of God for 2 years. Under the leadership of Bishop Judy Warren, Pastor Troy demonstrated his passion for the betterment of young souls and substantial understanding of the gospel. In February 2011, Troy became a full time youth pastor at Wall of Refuge Community Church under Pastor Chad R. Buggs. While serving at Wall of Refuge, Pastor Troy was successfully licensed and ordained as a minister of Jesus Christ. During his time there, the youth ministry grew and flourished.

Reverend Dotson started New Life Christian Ministries in October 2017 and became its senior pastor. The ministry was birthed from Pastor Dotson’s vision of a loving congregation with a focus on fellowship and passionate desire for God’s Word. The ministry held its first services at Pastor Dotson’s home. The news of an exciting new ministry spread quickly, resulting in new members added each week. Under his leadership, God has increased New Life Christian Ministries from 20 members to over 100 members by May 2018. 

As the Senior Pastor of New Life Christian Ministries, Dotson continues to passionately relate the word of God in his own unique style, incorporating humor with a deep understanding of God’s word.
